SHREVEPORT, La. – Both teams search for the golden goal turned up nothing as neither the LSU Shreveport Pilots nor the Louisiana College Wildcats could find the back of the net as the game ended in a tie 0-0 after double overtime.

NOTES
The Pilots tied for the second match in a row and now have a record of 1-1-2 on the season while LC's record moves to 0-2-1.

FROM THE COACH
"We did not play our best game," said LSUS Head Coach Ashley Holland. "We need to improve on simple things and we will. We appreciate the great fan base supporting us today. We are looking forward to getting back to practice and improving."

TOP PERFORMERS
Karolyn Hasler (FR/Chandler, Arizona) made six saves, including four in the second half and played all 110 minutes in goal for the Pilots.

Kati-Jayde Cunningham (JR/Stonewall, Louisiana) had the game high of eight shots and four shots on goal.

Charly Upchurch (FR/Keithville, Louisiana) took three shots and had one on goal while both shots from Elizabeth Cobar (JR/Garland, Texas) found their way on goal.

Jennifer Condie (FR/Bossier City, Louisiana) and Alizah Medoza each took a shot as Mendoza's was on goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Pilots did score a goal in the second half off a header coming after a free kick but the flag was raised on the far side of the pitch signaling for the offsides call as that was as close as either team would get to getting rid of the zero on the scoreboard.

• Both keepers, Hasler for LSUS and Lexi Tate for LC, were busy but neither gave up a goal and played all 110 minutes. Tate made eight saves topping Hasler's six.
