Men's Cross Country - Fri, Sep. 1, 2017

MONROE, La. - LSUS Cross Country competed in their first meet of the year at the ULM Warhawk Invitational. The course featured rolling hills through a pasture that was wet and muddy from all the recent rain. This slowed the times down and made for a difficult race. There were 4 teams competing in the Men's and Women's race.

In the men's race, Freshman Cody Robinson led the Pilots with a finishing time of 19:03, coming in 13th place. Next was Solomon Layton (20:15, 18th). Simon Moradel finished 3rd for the Pilots (28:12, 29th) and the team was rounded out by Judd Young (28:13, 30th) and Jaelon Davis (29:12, 31st). The meet was scored as a dual meet between each Division 1 school.

The Pilot Cross Country teams will next be competing in the Chili Pepper Cross Country Meet in Fayetteville, Arkansas on September 30th.
