CONWAY, Ark. – The LSU Shreveport women's soccer team were defeated 3-1 by the Hendrix College Warriors on Wednesday evening at Warrior Field. The Warriors have now won three of their last four games as they improve to 4-4 while the Pilots slip to 1-2-2.

FROM THE COACH
"We played hard tonight," said LSUS Head Coach Ashley Holland. "We had our good moments but then we had some moments where we were lacking and those moments were taken advantage of. The goal came from a great effort by Kati-Jayde who didn't give up and stayed with it. She did fantastic to get the ball to Elizabeth who placed a beautiful ball in the back of the net. Karolyn gave us a great effort in the net and our back line gave us everything they had. We have to refocus and move on. We will take the positives and build on that for our next game as we open conference."

TOP PERFORMERS
Elizabeth Cobar (JR/Garland, Texas) tied Kati-Jade Cunningham for the most shots in the contest with two and one being on goal. Cobar scored the only goal of the game for the Pilots while Cunningham was credited with the assist.

Savannah Guigneaux (JR/Kaufman, Texas) had one shot that was on goal while Natalie Bianco (JR/Guernsey, England) had one shot.

Jennifer Condie (FR/Bossier City, Louisiana) was the only sub used by the Pilots and also took one shot.

Karolyn Hasler (FR/Chandler, Arizona) was busy in goal for the Pilots as she faced five shots and saved two after 90 minutes of action.
