SHREVEPORT, La. – The LSU Shreveport women's soccer team were outnumbered by the visiting St. Thomas Celts on Saturday afternoon at The Swamp as the visitors had nine subs to the Pilots' one. The Celts won by a final tally of 5-0 as they improved to 3-3-1 on the season and 2-0 in RRAC play while the Pilots slip to 1-5-2 and 0-3 in the league.

FROM THE COACH
"It was a tough loss today," said LSUS Head Coach Ashley Holland. "You have to give credit to St. Thomas, they played fantastic today. It is something we need to learn from and build from as we move on to focus on the next games ahead. We had chances, but we were unlucky to finish. We have a lot of conference games left and we need to grow together as a team."

TOP PERFORMERS
Kati-Jayde Cunningham (JR/Stonewall, Louisiana) had a couple of chances up top for the Pilots as she led the team with two shots.

Mason Richardson (JR/Forney, Texas) was the only other Pilots that was able to get a shot off.

Karolyn Hasler (FR/Chandler, Arizona) was busy minding the net for the Pilots as she made 13 saves and was under constant pressure as St. Thomas got off a total of 35 shots, 18 were on goal.

• The final goal of the game came during the 76th minute with Alette Taylor scoring after a pass from Julia LaVergne.
