James Dicken

James Dicken comes to LSUS after serving as the Associate Director of Wellness/Assistant Men’s Lacrosse coach at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dicken played collegiate lacrosse at Augustana College (Rock Island, IL) and graduated with Bachelors’ degrees in Religion and Sports Administration in 2008.  He accepted an Assistant Men’s Lacrosse coaching position at Missouri Baptist University in 2010, and helped lead the Spartans to back to back Top-25 seasons before graduating in 2012.

In March 2013, Dicken accepted a position at Centenary College as the Associate Director of Wellness/Assistant Men’s Lacrosse coach where he was responsible for recruitment of student athletes, budget management, staff scheduling, and assisting with game day operations for the department.

“I want to thank Mr. Morgan and his staff for allowing me to become a part of this growing family.  LSUS Athletics have consistently competed at a very high level and it is my hope I can aid them on their route to conference and national championships,” said Dicken.

James serves as an executive board member of the Red River Youth Lacrosse Association, is a US Lacrosse Certified Official, and was nominated for the Young Professional Initiative of Northwest Louisiana 40 Under 40 in 2015 and 2016.  He currently lives with his fiancé Kari in Shreveport.
