INAUGURAL HALL OF FAME CLASS ANNOUNCED

SHREVEPORT, La. – LSUS Athletics is proud to announce their inaugural Hall of Fame class. Chad McDowell, Andrew Brouillette and Fredericko Payne have been selected as the members of the 2019 class based on their accomplishments as Pilots. The Hall of Fame will be located in the Health and Physical Education Building next to the entrance into The Dock.

"I am thrilled for us to be rolling out the Athletics Hall of Fame at LSUS. The committee did an amazing job picking three of the premier members to go in as the inaugural hall of fame class. Without a shadow of a doubt Andrew Brouillette was one of the best with a bat in his hand, and Rico Payne's reputation as a long distance threat has lived on in the record books and is still talked about by fans. Chad McDowell was and still is the ultimate Pilot with his success as a student-athlete, coach, and Athletic Director. We've had several great individuals and teams represent LSUS and it's time we honor their accomplishments. It's a great day to be a Pilot," says Director of Athletics, Lucas Morgan.

The ceremony will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom. Tickets are on sale now for $25 and can be purchased in the LSUS Athletics office (by contacting James Dicken) or at the door that evening.
