JUNIOR (2015): played in 40 games for the Pilots with 29 starts…hit .292 with five doubles and 16 runs batted in…had 10 multi-hit games…scored two runs against Hastings College…ripped three hits against Southern Arkansas…drove in three runs against LSU Alexandria…walked twice against Our Lady of the Lake…stole one base against Alcorn State.

SOPHOMORE (2014): played in 51 games…hit .289 with three doubles, one triple, one home run, and drove in 22 runs…team’s 2^nd best with 30 walks…hit his first home run of his college career on March 14 in game one of a double header at Wiley…set the single game LSUS record with five walks in game two of a double header against Wiley on March 14…had 11 multi-hit games…drove in three runs against Northwood on Feb. 1.

FRESHMAN (2013): played in 19 games..hit .192 with one double and three runs batted in…collected his first collegiate hit and runs batted in on February 22 against Texas College.

2012: Redshirted.

High School: lettered four seasons for Coach Kade Rogers at Hahnville High School…2^nd Team All-District in 2011.

Personal: born Jared Kenneth Vial on December 8, 1991, in New Orleans, Louisiana…goes by "V"…son of Kenneth and Melissa Vial…has one brother Brooks (21)…has one sister Meghan (26)…Community Health/Physical Activity major with a target graduation date of May 2016…plans on teaching special education students and coaching high school baseball.
