TAYLOR FAJARDO: RRAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LSUS Baseball's Taylor Fajardo was selected as this week's RRAC Baseball Player of the Week. Fajardo is the third straight Pilots' hitter to win the award. This is his first selection of the season.
Fajardo drove in four runs in a three-game sweep for the Pilots against Clarke University (Iowa). The senior outfielder accounted for two doubles and an RBI in a 4-0 second game victory. Fajardo closed out the series with a homer and three RBIs in a 10-5 victory. For the week, the Las Vegas native was 4-for-9 at the plate with three runs scored, two walks and two stolen bases. Fajardo is tied for the conference lead with 16 RBIs on the season. Ranked 12th in the country, LSUS climbed to 13-2.
Fajardo's five home runs leads the RRAC, as well.
