LSU Shreveport’s Isaac Rohde Named 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NAIA Pitcher of the Year
SHREVEPORT, La. — LSU Shreveport's standout left-handed pitcher, Isaac Rohde, has been named the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NAIA Pitcher of the Year, capping off a dominant season that established him as one of the top arms in the country.
A native of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Rohde delivered a flawless 16-0 record, backed by a 2.09 ERA, a 0.93 WHIP, and 107 strikeouts over 120 innings pitched. Known for his elite command, deceptive delivery, and competitive edge, the southpaw anchored the Pilots' rotation and led them through a historic season.
In addition to this prestigious national honor, Rohde was named the RRAC Pitcher of the Year, earned First Team NAIA All-American recognition, and was selected as the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series MVP, underscoring his impact on the biggest stage.
"Isaac has spearheaded this rotation in his two years here at LSUS," said Head Coach Brad Neffendorf. "He inserted himself all over the record books and will go down as one of the all-time greats to wear a Pilot uniform. He possessed so many key components to what we believe allows our pitching staff to be successful and he executed it consistently for two years at the highest level I have seen in quite some time. We are extremely proud of him and what he was able to accomplish during his time here. This award comes by no surprise, and we look forward to watching him do the same in his professional career."
Rohde's historic season not only adds to the rich legacy of LSUS Baseball but sets a new standard for excellence in the program.
