Wallace Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

SHREVEPORT, La. — LSU Shreveport men's basketball sophomore Khi Wallace has been selected as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of Dec. 8–14, following another dominant all-around performance in a pair of Pilots victories.

Wallace recorded two double-doubles as LSUS defeated LSUA, 98–90, and Louisiana Christian University, 78–57. The sophomore continues to anchor the Pilots on both ends of the floor, extending his streak to seven consecutive double-doubles.

Against LSUA, Wallace delivered a monster outing with 28 points and 16 rebounds, controlling the paint and setting the tone physically. He followed that performance with 17 points and 13 rebounds versus LCU, while also contributing three steals and two blocks to highlight his defensive impact.

On the season, Wallace leads the Pilots and ranks second in the RRAC with 183 points. He also paces LSUS with 101 rebounds, is second on the team with 11 blocks, and ranks third with 11 steals. The honor marks Wallace's third Player of the Week award of the season.

LSU Shreveport improves to 7–3 overall and remains perfect in conference play at 5–0. The Pilots return to action on Dec. 15, 2025, hosting the University of the Southwest at The Dock. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
