Pilots Men's Soccer Fall to the Crusaders

Hattiesburg, Mississippi-- In an intense soccer showdown, the Men's Pilot soccer team faced off against the formidable Crusaders of William Carey, ultimately falling 3-0. With the loss the Pilot move to an overall record of 2-2-1. 

The first half of the match saw the Pilots giving it their all, holding the Crusaders in a hard-fought battle. However, the Crusaders managed to break through the defense and netted a goal in the 17th minute, taking a 1-0 lead at halftime. The Pilots were outshot 5-9 during this period but remained determined.

As the second half commenced, the Pilots attempted to regain control of the game. Despite their efforts, the Crusaders proved relentless, adding two more goals to their tally. The Pilots, unfortunately, found themselves outshot once again, this time by a margin of 4-10.

Though the Pilots fought valiantly, it was the Crusaders who emerged victorious with a final score of 3-0. 

The Pilots will be back in action Thursday September 14th as they take on the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake. Kick off is set for 3:30pm from San Antonio, Texas.
