The first half was a tense battle with both teams struggling to break the deadlock. The Lions unleashed a barrage of shots early on, setting the tone for the match. However, the Pilots showed resilience, managing to fire off eight shots themselves, just one short of the Lions' nine attempts. As the halftime whistle blew, the score remained at a frustrating 0-0.

The second half brought a renewed determination from both sides. For the first 20 minutes, they exchanged shots, keeping the goalkeepers on their toes. Then, in the 65th minute, the Lions capitalized on a momentary lapse in the Pilots' defense and found the back of the net.
