Salas Named as RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

Waco, Texas-- The Red River Athletic Conference announced their sixth set of weekly awards and once again the Pilots were noticed. Madison Salas picked up the title of Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 25th-Oct. 1.

Salas helped guide the Pilots to a 2-0 week as they compiled 7 goals in two wins. The Friendswood, Texas native netted a goal in a 3-0 victory over Xavier before blocking NAU from a goal in a 4-0 win. The Pilots currently have a record of 3-1-2 in RRAC play and a season record of 5-3-2.

The Pilots will be back in action Thursday October 5th as they take on conference rival LSU Alexandria. Kick off is set for 1:00pm CT from the Swamp in Shreveport, Louisiana.
