Beaumont Joins LSU Shreveport Volleyball Staff Ahead of Inaugural Season
SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Shreveport Athletics and Head Women's Volleyball Coach Callie Houlihan have announced the hiring of Aubrey Beaumont as assistant volleyball coach, adding an experienced NAIA coach and program builder to the Pilots' staff ahead of the program's inaugural season. She will officially join the staff on June 15, 2026.
Beaumont arrives at LSUS with coaching experience across the NAIA, club, and high school ranks. Most recently, she served as a director, co-director, and coach for Montana Club Volleyball, working with both 18s and 16-1s teams while helping develop student-athletes on and off the court.
"We are thrilled to welcome Aubrey to our team at LSUS," Houlihan said. "She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her time as both an assistant coach and head coach at the NAIA level. Her background as a coach and former player will be invaluable to our program and its future success. I look forward to working alongside her and coaching together as we strive to achieve our goals."
Beaumont said the opportunity to help build a program from the ground up made LSU Shreveport an exciting next step in her coaching career.
"I'm honored to join the inaugural NAIA volleyball staff at LSUS as the assistant coach," Beaumont said. "Thank you to Callie and the hiring committee. Building a program from day one is a rare opportunity, and I'm excited to help our athletes chase excellence. This is just the beginning!"
Prior to joining LSUS, Beaumont served as head volleyball coach at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, and Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky, gaining valuable experience leading NAIA programs and developing student-athletes at a high level.
Her collegiate coaching resume also includes time as an assistant volleyball coach at McPherson College in Kansas and as a graduate assistant at the University of Jamestown. During her time at Jamestown, the Jimmies made multiple appearances at the NAIA National Championship while earning numerous academic honors. Beaumont also served as an assistant coach with the Jamestown Juniors volleyball program, further expanding her experience in player development and recruiting.
In addition to her collegiate experience, Beaumont coached extensively at the club level, serving as a director, co-director, and coach with Montana Club Volleyball. She has worked with athletes across multiple age groups and competitive levels while also coaching with Rise Volleyball Academy in Idaho and at Emmett High School.
A former standout player herself, Beaumont earned Montana All-State and All-Conference honors during her prep career. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a minor in Spanish from Jamestown University and later completed both a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
Beaumont will assist Houlihan in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, player development, scouting, practice planning, and match preparation as LSU Shreveport Volleyball prepares for its inaugural season.
The addition of Beaumont marks another important milestone for LSU Shreveport Volleyball as the Pilots continue building the foundation for their inaugural season.
