Texarkana, Texas—In a highly contested battle for the RRAC conference tournament championship, the LSU Shreveport Pilots faced a tough challenge against the LSU Alexandria Generals, fall 1-0. With the loss the Pilots ended their season with an overall record of 13-4-3.
The match unfolded as a true battleground, with both teams going toe-to-toe on the field. The first half was characterized by an intense fight for possession, but it was the Generals who managed to capitalize first. A blocked shot followed by an opportune strike from an open striker put the Pilots at a 1-0 deficit as the half came to a close. The Generals asserted their dominance in the first half, outshooting the Pilots 7-2.
The Pilots, determined to mount a comeback, went head to head with the Generals once again in the second half.
